Dairy-Free Chocolate Ganache
A super simple recipe for dairy-free chocolate ganache that's sure to please!
- 8 ounces Dairy-free chocolate chips
- 8 ounces Coconut Cream ( , the solid part of coconut milk)
- 1/4 teaspoon espresso powder (, optional)
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional) (, optional)
Refrigerate a can of coconut milk overnight or 12 hours.
Using a scale, measure 8 oz of the solidified cream off the top.
Melt 8 oz of chocolate using the double boiler method or in small increments in the microwave, & stir frequently. Add in the coconut cream & stir until smooth.
The ganache can be used right away for things like drips/drizzles on cakes or chocolate-covered berries. If using as a frosting or filling, refrigerate for a few hours until solid, then beat with mixer until light & fluffy!
