Booze Berries: Recipe + Free Printables

đŸ‘»đŸ“VODKA-INFUSED, CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES are amazingly booze-y, delicious, and super easy to make! They’re perfect for Halloween parties or to “Boo” your adult friends with!

Last week, I had fun putting together and dropping off this “Boo” bucket for my nephews, and it got me thinking about what would be something fun to “Boo” adult friends with. I jumped on Pinterest and started looking for inspiration and saw that giving bottles of “booze” was a popular option. But I wanted to do something different and so “Booze Berries” were born. And I can proudly say that they’re an original idea that I came up with!

I got to work right away to create them and knew that I also had to design a tag and sign to go with them too, because presentation is literally everything for giving cute, memorable gifts! I love how it all came together! I posted the files below so that you can use them too!

If you don’t have a printer at home, simply take the file to any local office supply store with a print center and ask them to print it on a heavy white cardstock or matte photo paper. I usually go to Office Depot because it’s the closest one to me and I’m always happy with how my printable come out.

đŸ‘»đŸ“ VODKA-INFUSED, CHOCOLATE COVERED STRAWBERRIES are amazingly booze-y, delicious, and super easy to make! They’re perfect for Halloween parties or for “Boo-ing” your adult friends with!

  • 2 lbs fresh strawberries
  • 2-3 cups vodka
  • 10 ounces bag of dairy-free chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons coconut oil, (refined)
  1. Rinse and drain strawberries and pat dry. Place strawberries in a large bowl and cover with vodka.

  2. Put in fridge and let strawberries soak 1-5 hours.

  3. Lay paper towel over a cooling rack. Remove the berries from fridge, lay on the paper towel, and lightly pat berries dry. Let them sit and come to room temperature.

  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Melt chocolate in microwave or using a double boiler.

MICROWAVE: In a small microwave-safe bowl, microwave the chocolate chips and coconut in 15-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely melted.

DOUBLE BOILER: Fill a saucepan with water and heat on medium-low heat. Place a glass bowl over the water (a double boiler) and add the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Stir until the chips are melted and smooth

  5. Dip the berries in chocolate and allow excess to drip back into the bowl, then place on the parchment paper.

  6. Drizzle with chocolate, garnish with flake salt or sprinkles, or add mini chocolate chips to make eyes and mouths while chocolate on the strawberry is still tacky.

  7. Chill the berries in fridge until the chocolate is set or until you’re ready to serve them!
